Children’s Program Terms
These Children’s Program Terms apply to GIofAI programs designed for children and young people.
How these terms work
They supplement the GIofAI Terms & Conditions published by Dyaus Analytics Pty Ltd ACN 664 049 450, trading as Global Institute of Artificial Intelligence.
By enrolling a child in a GIofAI children’s program, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these Children’s Program Terms and the GIofAI Terms & Conditions.
If there is an inconsistency relating specifically to a children’s program, these Children’s Program Terms apply to the extent of that inconsistency.
Program participation
Children must meet the age or eligibility requirements stated for the relevant program.
GIofAI may make reasonable changes to:
- class schedules;
- instructors or coaches;
- learning activities;
- technology used;
- group arrangements; or
- program content,
where reasonably necessary to deliver the program safely and effectively.
Where a material change affects the program purchased, GIofAI will communicate with the parent or guardian and apply the GIofAI Terms & Conditions and applicable consumer law.
Parent and guardian responsibilities
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- providing accurate emergency and contact information;
- ensuring the child has suitable access to any required device, internet connection or equipment communicated before the program;
- helping the child understand relevant program and safety rules;
- ensuring GIofAI is informed of any reasonable adjustment necessary for safe participation; and
- contacting GIofAI if they have concerns about their child’s participation or safety.
Parents and guardians are not expected to supervise every session unless GIofAI specifically advises that supervision is required.
Behaviour and safety
Children are expected to:
- treat other learners and GIofAI personnel respectfully;
- follow reasonable instructions from teachers and coaches;
- avoid bullying, harassment, discriminatory or threatening behaviour;
- protect their own and other people’s personal information;
- use technology appropriately; and
- comply with reasonable safety and participation rules.
GIofAI may take reasonable action where behaviour creates a safety, wellbeing or serious disruption risk. This may include:
- speaking with the child and parent or guardian;
- providing additional guidance;
- restricting particular activities;
- temporarily removing the child from a session; or
- ending participation where reasonably necessary.
Any refund entitlement will be determined in accordance with the GIofAI Terms & Conditions and applicable Australian law.
Child safety
GIofAI’s Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy applies to all children’s programs.
GIofAI workers, teachers, coaches, contractors and freelancers must comply with GIofAI’s Child Safe Code of Conduct.
Child-safety concerns can be reported to:
Child Safety Officer

Phone: 1800 434 008
Where there is an immediate threat to life or safety, call 000.
AI and technology
GIofAI children’s programs may involve artificial intelligence and other digital technologies.
Children may only be asked to use tools approved by GIofAI for the relevant program. GIofAI maintains an Approved Tool Register identifying technology used in children’s programs.
Children must not enter unnecessary personal information into AI tools.
GIofAI may replace or stop using a technology tool where its terms, availability, safety, privacy arrangements or functionality change. Where reasonably practicable, GIofAI will provide an appropriate alternative.
AI-generated information may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate. GIofAI teaches children to review and question AI output rather than treating it as automatically correct.
Privacy
Personal information relating to children and families is handled in accordance with the:
The Children’s Programs Privacy Notice explains the additional privacy practices and protections that apply specifically to children’s programs.
Cameras, recordings and media
GIofAI does not routinely record children’s online sessions.
The general event-recording provisions in the GIofAI Terms & Conditions do not apply to children’s programs where they are inconsistent with this section.
Where GIofAI proposes to record a child or use a child’s identifiable:
- image;
- voice;
- video;
- testimonial; or
- project work
for a purpose outside ordinary delivery of the program, appropriate parent or guardian consent will be obtained where required.
Consent for participation in a program does not automatically constitute consent for marketing use.
Participants must not make unauthorised recordings, screenshots or photographs of other children or GIofAI sessions.
Children’s work and GIofAI materials
A child retains ownership of original work they create, subject to any rights relating to third-party materials or tools they use.
GIofAI retains all intellectual-property rights in its:
- course materials;
- curriculum;
- teaching resources;
- templates;
- software;
- platforms;
- branding; and
- other proprietary materials.
Enrolment gives the child and parent or guardian a personal, non-commercial right to use GIofAI program materials for participation and learning.
GIofAI will not use a child’s identifiable work publicly or for marketing without appropriate permission where required.
Fees, cancellations and refunds
Fees, payment arrangements, cancellations and refunds are governed by the GIofAI Terms & Conditions and any program-specific offer communicated at enrolment.
All fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. The price shown at enrolment is the total amount payable for the program.
For the January 2027 Future AI Innovators Program, the January launch price is $595 until 30 November 2026. A place may be reserved with $99. The $99 is fully refundable until 1 December 2026. The $496 balance is due on 1 December 2026. Reserved places must be paid in full by 3 December 2026 or GIofAI may release the place.
From 1 December 2026 the January program price is $695, paid in full at enrolment. The $99 reservation is not offered from that date. An additional child is $449, payable when enrolled. Enrolment closes on Friday 18 December 2026.
A full program refund is available through the end of Day 2. This applies to all enrolments, including a place paid at $695.
Nothing in these Children’s Program Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Third-party services
GIofAI may use approved third-party services to deliver children’s programs, including communication, video-conferencing, payment and educational technology providers.
Use of these services may also be subject to the provider’s applicable terms and privacy arrangements.
GIofAI takes reasonable steps to select and configure providers appropriately for the intended program use.
Parents and guardians should contact GIofAI if they have concerns about a particular tool used in the program.
No guarantee of particular outcomes
GIofAI will provide its programs with reasonable care and skill.
However, learning outcomes differ between children and depend on factors including participation, prior experience and individual circumstances.
GIofAI does not guarantee:
- a particular academic result;
- a particular level of technical skill;
- future educational admission;
- employment or career outcomes; or
- any specific outcome from the use of AI tools.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Relationship with the GIofAI Terms and Conditions
These Children’s Program Terms form part of the agreement between GIofAI and the parent or guardian enrolling the child.
The general GIofAI Terms & Conditions continue to apply except where these Children’s Program Terms specifically provide a different rule for children’s programs.
If there is an inconsistency concerning:
- child safety;
- children’s privacy;
- recording or photography;
- communications with children; or
- use of children’s information,
these Children’s Program Terms and the relevant GIofAI child-specific policy or notice apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
